Winner of numerous awards, including the 1975 Ravel Prize at the Marguerite Long International Competition, Mr. Schwartz been hailed as “one of the finest pianists of his generation.” Mr. Schwartz makes his home in San Francisco where he is a faculty member at Skyline College. He has also taught at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Santa Clara University. Klavier Records has recently released his recording of Romero’s Spirals for piano and orchestra, with the San Francisco Camerata.
