WILLIAM H. CHAPMAN NYAHO

William H. Chapman Nyaho, a Ghanaian American, studied at Achimota School (Ghana) and Oxford University (UK). Mr. Nyaho brings a unique cultural background and extraordinarily eclectic sense of music to the concert hall, propelling his music, as one critic put it, to "reach great heights." His ground-breaking CD SENKU: Piano Music by Composers of African Descent on the MSR Classics Label has been critically acclaimed by publications such as Gramophone and Fanfare magazines. He is a regular guest clinician, giving master classes, presentations, lecture-recitals, and workshops advocating music by composers of the African Diaspora.
